Film Mayo is an initiative of Mayo County Council’s Arts Service. 
Our role is to support and promote filmmaking in County Mayo.

We assist productions of all scales, from student films to international shoots. We offer practical advice, location guidance and local contacts. 
Our knowledge of the county saves producers time and stress.

Mayo is a place of strong landscapes and distinct character. 
Coastlines, islands, towns and farmland sit within easy reach of each other. Many classic films have already been made here. We believe many more 
are to come.
