Mount Falcon Estate

Located 7km south of Ballina and 10 km north of Foxford on the River Moy this 100-acre estate is surrounded by a mature forest.  Designed by architect James Franklin Fuller, Mount Falcon is an 1876 Victorian Gothic style Manor House with a modern extension and glass atrium.

Features include original tilling, pitch pine woodwork, marble fireplaces and servants’ bells.

This Grade A listed building boasts two ‘thinking rooms’ and a freestanding, single-bay water tower, a charming “faux” Irish folly, on the grounds on the estate.  There is a 3km woodland walking trail and two miles of double bank river offering access to boats with private fisheries on the river Moy. Clay pigeon shooting, archery and falconry with a selection of birds of prey including hawks, falcons and owls are all available on the estate.

A privately owned estate, Mount Falcon offers accommodation in 45 self-catering units in 3 separate themed clusters.
