Westport House

An 18th-century Palladian estate on over 400 acres of parkland with magnificent views of Clew Bay, Achill, Clare Island and Croagh Patrick.   The Georgian house was designed by architects Richard Cassels and James Wyatt.

Boasting several architecturally stunning rooms complete with original contents and a collection of waxwork figures by Gems Display Figures, a tribute to the literary, arts and music achievements of the West of Ireland.  Other original features include a fine collection of old English and Irish silver, Waterford glass, a library with many old Irish books and a Mayo Legion Flag.

Westport House frequently hosts historical documentaries and benefits from its location in a prime filming region.  The estate offers easy road access for all vehicle sizes and practical on-site facilities include high-capacity parking, power, water, and waste management.
