Permissions

The following concerns locations that comes under the remit of Mayo County Council.

We will be looking for the following:

  • Copy of Insurance Policy/Schedule that is in date when the filming is to take place. A minimum Public Liability cover of €6.5m & Employers Liability €13m is required.
  • A specific Letter of indemnity, indemnifying MAYO COUNTY COUNCIL and specifying same.
  • For overseas production companies we will require confirmation that your insurance policy covers you in Ireland and that the Territorial & Jurisdiction limits on the policy are the same when overseas. If you documentation is in another language, we require an English translation of the documents.
  • A risk assessment in relation to your shoot.
  • If you are using a drone, please supply relevant permits and operators licence.
